形態特徵

Herbs to 40 cm tall, covered with septate hairs; stems erect, square or octangonal, angles prominent, minutely and sparsely hairy.
Leaves petiolate; petioles more or less flattened, minutely hairy; blades 5–7 cm long, 6–8 cm wide, broadly ovate, 3-lobed, base obtuse, apex acute, margins serrate or irregular incised, both surfaces minutely and sparsely hairy, densely so on veinlets, lobes 4–7 cm long, 3–4 cm wide.
Flowers in verticillate cymes forming loose terminal racemes; bracteoles linear; calyx campanulate, bilabiate, divided 1/2–2/3 the length of the calyx, upper lip 3-toothed, teeth triangular, lower lip 2-toothed, teeth narrowly triangular, minutely hairy; corolla tubular, bilabiate, upper lip 2-lobed, lobes ovate or broadly ovate, lower lip 3-lobed, central lobes large, ovate, 2 lateral lobes obliquely ovate; stamens 4, lower pair longer.
Nutlets obovoid, reticulate.
